Expertise: I have 12 years’ management experience gained from the retail sector. I have experience in training colleagues on policies, processes and procedures and find watching people develop in their roles very motivational. I also have experience in performance management and in house recruitment. During my time in retail I have developed many transferrable skills I can continue to utilise working in HR.
After many years in this sector, I wanted to change my career but still carry on with parts of my job I really enjoyed therefore transitioning into HR felt the most natural route.
Qualification: I have completed the CIPD Certificate in Human Resource Practice and have recently enrolled at the University of Gloucestershire for the Intermediate Diploma in Human Resource Management, where I can continue to grow and develop.
Away from the office: I love to travel and experience new cultures. I am a keen photographer although consider myself very amateur!
